Lacquerol colors are great for auto graphics and signs; they are easy to work with, durable and removable. These colors are perfect for graphics that will be removed later. Lacquerol colors ideal in any application where a hard finish and water resistance is needed. The durability of Lacquerol is exceptional.
These colors will provide years of performance without application of a clear top coating. They can be wet sanded and buffed to a mirror gloss finish. Also when applied over automotive clear coatings they can be feathered edge sanded and polished resulting in images that look and feel as good as any other automotive graphic process.
Lacquerol can be removed from your car at any time, it is formulated with less harmful ethyl alcohol based solvents making them safer to use. The solvents are flammable and should not be used in areas where the spraying of flammable liquids could cause a fire or explosion.Positive Stenciling Techniques:
Lacquerol is unique for its ability to be used with positive stenciling. Positive stencils are stencils cut out of removable vinyl in the exact design . The stencil is positioned over an area painted with lacquerol, next you apply the Lacquerol Remover Gel and wipe away all the paint around the positive stencil, finish by removing the stencil, revealing the design underneath. You can wet sand, polish and buff to produce a smooth finish.
Spraying and Reducing:
Lacquerol colors are concentrated, for spray application thinning is necessary. A starting point for thinning is the addition of 3 parts Lacquerol to 1 part ADA-31 reducer, adjust as conditions warrant.
Finishing and Cear Coating:
Wet sanding and buffing your artwork will produce brilliant glossy finishes. A clear coat is not needed to wet sand and buff, however, applying several layers of Lacquerol Clear LAC-100 over your art before sanding or buffing will produce the best finish. These colors provide a tough finish that can be used without a permanent clear coat for long lasting auto graphics.
Shipping and Handling:
Special Note: Ethyl Alcohol is a class 3 Flammable solvent. UPS shipments must be by ground and under a specific weight to qualify as ORMD at standard ground rates. Ethyl Alcohol solvents are flammable. Do Not Use in areas where spraying flammable liquids could cause a fire or explosion hazard.
